How can I access online therapy?

If you are self-motivated and feel capable of managing your mental health journey with minimal assistance from a therapist, a Direct to Digital referral could be a suitable option for you.

SilverCloud is a secure, online platform for mental health support, designed for you to navigate your mental health at your own pace. Based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), which is an effective way of learning about thoughts, feelings and behaviours – and how they influence each other, it teaches techniques to manage low mood, anxiety, and stress.

Accessible anytime, anywhere on your computer, tablet, or phone.

What happens next?

Once you’ve registered, you’ll have immediate access to the Get Started Self-Management program, designed to help you feel better straight away.

Our team will call you within 7 days to complete a short assessment, schedule a check-in, and create an online treatment plan tailored to your needs.

A Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner will guide you through the self-help program, reviewing your progress weekly and leaving comments or suggestions. They can also add extra support modules specific to your needs. You don’t need to be online for these reviews - you can leave comments and share content with your supporter, who will respond on your review date.

The course typically takes 6–8 weeks to complete. After finishing, you’ll still have access to SilverCloud®  for 12 months to revisit materials whenever you need.'
